Recorded
in summer of 2011, this was to be the follow up to Phibes' demo tape.
Unfortunately the band broke up in early 2012, and it remained unheard
by the masses. The band was heavily influenced by early 80's California
hardcore punk, such as T.S.O.L., Adolescents, Circle Jerks and the
Nardcore bands.
Since their demise, members went on to Night Birds, Altered Boys, Blunt Force, Big Bad Wolf and No Parole.
The UK boys are back! Recorded during the same session as their EP on Lockin Out Records (coming soon), these 2 new songs are hard stomping in your face hardcore. The Flex take heavy influence from late 80's NYHC, and early 80's Boston HC/punk. You should already be familiar with their LP and 7" (both on Video Disease and Milk Run), and their destructive live sets. This is the 5th volume in their "Flexual Healing" releases, the previous 4 being cassettes. The band will be doing a full US tour with Red Death from DC, tour dates HERE.
*This is a split release with Milk Run Records, UK/Europe please get in touch with them for wholesale rates.*
Limited
to 1000 copies on red flexi with pocket sleeves. 10 test presses. (2 songs)
Hailing from parts unknown, Black SS (aka: Black Sheep Squadron) is a long running straight edge hardcore punk band. Started way back in 2004, this is their first release since 2008. Though they haven't been as active, due to location and general adulthood, they still occasionally play. Comparisons to bands like Slapshot, Kill Your Idols and Life's Blood are not far off for the uninitiated. They had previously done releases on such notable labels as Reaper, Third Party, Organized Crime and others. This release is to coincide with their appearance at Oneota Punk Fest. These song are fast, raw and to the point; proving there are still things to be angry about in your 30's.
Limited to 250 copies on pro duplicated teal cassettes, screened shells and printed covers. 30 #'d pre-release copies on black tapes with sticker labels and fold over covers only available from the band. (5 songs)
A new project from the suburban hell of New Jersey; featuring a current member of Night Birds, as well as BE alumni from Bloodtype and Phibes. Mainly influenced by bands like Slapshot/ Stars and Stripes, Blunt Force blends Boston 82 hardcore with UK 82 punk/oi. The songs are melodic yet hard and mid paced. Includes a cover of a Boston classic.
Limited to 150 copies on pro duplicated cassettes (100 solid black/50 clear black), printed labels and silk screened covers. (5 songs)
After an incredible demo, Razorheads went back to the studio to record for a 7". They had made 50 promo tapes for New York's Alright Fest, which sold out. The songs were too good to be missed, and the 7" is not on the immediate horizon, so this is a re-press in cassingle format with updated artwork. Razorheads play Japanese influenced D-beat, with lots of distortion and reverb. Contains current members of Suburban Scum and Ugly Parts.
Limited to 200 copies on pro duplicated and shrink wrapped putty colored cassettes, with imprinted shells and wraparound covers. (3 songs)
Protester
is back, this time with a new cassingle. This is a promo for their new 7", coming out on Trash King Productions. The A side will be on the new record, but the B side is exclusive to this release. Much like the cover art would suggest, this is heavily influenced by bands like Confront, very hard-edged straight edge hardcore. Their demo was incredibly well received, and these are expected to sell out quickly. These will be available at Damaged City Fest in April, with whatever is left available here.
Limited to 100 copies on pro duplicated and shrink wrapped gray cassettes, with imprinted shells and wraparound covers . (4 songs)
*Due to an error on my part, the first song is actually Let You Forget and not Left To Rot, as stated on the back cover. Oops*
Ugly Parts from New Brunswick, NJ released a demo and 7" previously. They took some time to focus on this new EP, and it is worth the wait. "Wet" perfectly captures their sound like My War era Rollins joined Negative Approach, did drugs, then moved to Japan and X-claim released the end result. The production is raw, and contains samples and feedback to flow the whole thing together. Members also currently play in Razorheads.
Limited
to 150 copies on pro duplicated smokey black cassettes, with printed labels and screen printed covers, sealed with a sticker. (7 songs)
The story behind this one is that when we were moving offices at work, for some reason, 13 sealed 90 minute blank tapes were unearthed. Since they were to be thrown out, I figured I would give them a second life by doing a mix to get people into cool new bands. So as a cross promotion to get people to check
out my buttons, I've uploaded the mixtape there. No downloads, just
cassettes, only 12 made. 57 bands, 90 minutes of current hardcore. Check em out, and maybe add a button to you
order. There's like 6 new designs!
Protester is the straight edge brain child of Connor from Abuse/ Last Words/ Double Negative. Much like bands like Boston Strangler and Violent Reaction, this is a solo project that is now an active band (with members of Coke Bust and Thick Skin). Musically it takes cues from the early 80's Boston crew, as well as the early REV roster.
Limited to 100 200 copies on pro duplicated red cassettes with a glossy cover. (5 songs)
New York's Brain Slug returns in 2013 with their sophomore release, the
CREEP//Annihilate Me three-song-single; a manic blast of ancient NYHC
wisdom (Straight Ahead, Krakdown) spiked with a hefty dose of noisey
punk (Discharge, et al.). Wrapping things up is their vicious take on
Christian Death's "Spiritual Cramp."
In time for their spring tour, New Jersey's Altered Boys have recorded 2 new songs which are housed in an cassingle style cover. You may be already familiar with AB from their 7"s on Katorga Works and Deranged Records. They play a style of HC reminiscent of the early 2000 era HC bands like Shark Attack, Knife Fight, Tear It Up, etc... These 2 new songs were recorded after their 2 EPs, and are exclusive to this release. Side A is a mid-paced stomper, side B is a fast thrasher.
Wrong Decision is a new band from Belgium. On first listen, I was getting comparisons to 86 Mentality, Dead Stop, Insurance Risk and Commitment Crew. Straight forward early 80's style US hardcore, with burly vocals is what you should be expecting. Most of these songs will be on an upcoming 7", but there's some exclusives here. The A side give you 8 ripping hardcore tracks, the B side you'll have to experience first hand...
* This marks the first release that I've self-produced with my own professional duplicator, so note the lower price. However, since releasing my last tape, international shipping has gone up drastically. I based shipping rates off what other DIY labels are charging, so hopefully it works out for everyone's benefit.
OBLIVIONATION is a new band from Massachusetts, with ex-members of Out Cold (among many others). Fans of Out Cold will definitely not be disappointed, as this carries the tradition of no frills straight forward angry hardcore.
The Flex is a new band from the UK, with members of Perspex Flesh and Closure. Musically, they remind me a lot of Think I Care, but with a heavy Boston influence (SSD/ DYS/ Xclaim!). Plain, mean, dirty hardcore for the hardcore!
Sectarian Violence recorded these 5 songs for their European tour, which pick up right where their 7" on Grave Mistake left off. Raw fast politically conscious hardcore with members of Coke Bust (US), Never Again (UK), Stay Hungry (SWE) and others. International straight edge hardcore for fans of Violent Minds. I'm stoked to release this demo in the US in time for their 2 week June tour. 2 of these songs will also appear on the Punx Don't Drink vol. 2 compilation 7" on Third Party Records, and all of them will be re-recorded for a 12" on Grave Mistake.
Limited to 150 copies with re-designed cover art on pro duplicated cassettes, with printed sticker labels. (5 songs)

Birth Deformities is a new band from Chicago, consisting of members of Culo with Nick (Cowabunga Records CEO) on vocals. Taking influence from early 80's NY/NJ bands, similar to the approach of Omegas and Culo (obviously). This is probably one of my favorite demos of 2011, and I'm stoked to get to re-press these. Fans of cult hardcore shit like Chronic Sick and Fatal Rage will dig it, uptight PC idiots will hate it.

PHIBES is a new punk band from NJ with the same assholes who brought you Wormeaters, Bloodtype and Rip It Up. Don't expect it to sound like those bands, this is heavily influenced by early 80's California punk. Fans of bands like Adolescents, Germs, Battalion of Saints, TSOL and the Nardcore bands won't be disappointed. The songs are melodic, but pack a hard punch to the face. Limited to 250 tapes with full color covers, screened cases, great recording and shrink-wrapped. The whole package looks as good as it sounds. (5 songs)
So in a futile effort to promote my own band's releases/tour, I decided to start a record label. This is my first official release, though I've had experience releasing/ distribution demos and records before. Maybe this will be the first of many, maybe just a flash in the pan, either way, here it is BE-01! Bloodtype is a Straight Edge hardcore punk band from NJ. Influenced by 80's HC bands like the Abused, Straight Ahead, SSD, and early AF/WarZone. They play fast, pissed off, no BS hardcore. This tape contains 2 songs from their upcoming 7" (Cowabunga), a song from their split with INJ/SYS (No Reprieve), and a Black Flag cover exclusive to this release. Professionally duplicated red cassette tapes, limited to 100. $4.50ppd (in the USA)
